If it’s works, why change it? Windows update has made signing out easy again
Microsoft recently updated the Windows Start menu, which sparked some controversy.
The company wanted to simplify the Start menu by organising similar settings together. However, they hid the sign-out option within a three-dot menu, leading to confusion for users trying to log out.
But! Microsoft has heard the feedback and is currently testing a revision to restore the sign-out button to its previous location. This is particularly helpful for teams using multiple profiles on a single computer, as it will allow easier account switching. These modifications are part of a larger update for Windows 11 that is under testing.
The update will also introduce new features, such as media controls on the lock screen while playing music or videos and direct file sharing from search results. These enhancements demonstrate how small adjustments can significantly improve team productivity.
